Tips and Device Care
High-intensity settings are not necessarily more effective. We recommend setting the intensity level you are most comfortable with or start with lower intensity for a few sessions first before increasing.
For better performance and comfort, we recommend using a conductive gel on your skin before applying the electrode pad.
If you should feel stinging on your skin, it could be an indication that the electrode pads are not properly attached to your skin. It occurs when the electrode pads are drying out (not sticky enough), or your skin is dry (especially during winter). In such an event, we recommend wiping your skin with a wet towel or use conducting gel first before applying the electrode pads.
Electrode pads need to be replaced over a period of time. To extend the life of electrode pads, you can try rising it on tap water and let it dry. If you have finished using the device, please always attach the pads back to the small square plastic sheet that was on the electrode pads originally.
If you plan not to use the device for a longer period of time, please always remove the batteries to prevent acid leaks from the battery.
